Starting from sixth position in the 30-lap feature, Pauch quickly advanced to fourth within four laps, passing Danny Creeden and Danny Bouc. By lap five, he moved into third place after passing Rick Laubach. On lap ten, Pauch overtook Matt Peck for second position, setting his sights on leader Ryan Godown.

The race's turning point came on lap 20 when Godown, who had been showing signs of trouble with smoke from his right rear tire, was forced to slow with a flat tire. Pauch inherited the lead and successfully defended against Danny Creeden's challenges through multiple restarts to secure the victory.

Notable achievements for Pauch in 2024 include:

  • Two wins at BAPS Motor Speedway
  • Victory at the Coalcracker 72 at Big Diamond
  • Win at the Garden State Gunfight at New Egypt Speedway

The track conditions proved favorable despite following the 410 sprint feature, with Pauch praising BAPS's track preparation and ongoing facility improvements.

This victory holds special significance for the Breitenstein team, marking their most successful season with wins at multiple tracks. The partnership between Pauch and the Breitenstein team, spanning about ten years, has finally hit its stride, demonstrating that a lower-budget team can achieve significant success.

Looking ahead, Pauch and his Kid Racing No. 1 team are preparing their big block car for Volusia Speedweek 2025.
