EVgo now enables seamless charging for Tesla vehicles equipped with the CCS adapter through their Autocharge+ feature. This automatic payment system eliminates the need for card swiping or app interaction when initiating a charging session.

The functionality exclusively works with Tesla's CCS adapter and is not compatible with standard Tesla connectors found at some EVgo stations. To use Autocharge+, Tesla owners must:

This update streamlines the charging experience for Tesla drivers, making it comparable to Tesla's native Supercharger network experience. Simply plug in your vehicle with the CCS adapter, and charging begins automatically.

Note that Tesla vehicles using the standard Tesla connector at EVgo stations will still need to initiate charging sessions manually through the EVgo app or card.
