Miami Grand Prix President Tyler Epp emphasized their commitment to expanding motorsport's reach, praising F1 Academy Managing Director Susie Wolff's leadership in developing opportunities for young women in racing. The event will run alongside the Sprint format and Porsche Carrera Cup North America.

F1 Academy, launched in 2023, focuses on supporting female drivers aged 16 to 25, providing comprehensive training in technical skills, physical fitness, and mental preparation. The series uses Tatuus-built cars equipped with 1.4-liter turbocharged engines capable of reaching 150mph.

In the current season, Alpine Academy's Abbi Pulling dominates the championship standings with a 95-point lead over Doriane Pin, having won both races at this year's Miami event. Two race weekends remain in the 2024 season.
