Former Haas F1 Boss Guenther Steiner Added to Race Industry Week Speaker Lineup
Guenther Steiner, former Haas F1 team principal, will be a featured speaker at the 5th Annual Race Industry Week, scheduled for December 2-5, 2024. The event is free to attend.

Steiner's impressive motorsport career began in rallying, where he achieved success with various teams including Mazda and the Jolly Club organization. His leadership led to three consecutive Italian Rally Championship titles from 1994 to 1996 as technical manager.
His career progressed through prominent roles, including:
- Team manager at Prodrive's Allstar Rally Team, winning the European Championship
- Director of engineering at M-Sport, working with World Champions McRae and Sainz
- Managing director at Jaguar Racing F1
- Leadership roles at Red Bull Racing and their NASCAR program
- Founder of FibreWorks Composites in North Carolina
Most notably, Steiner led the Haas F1 Team from its 2014 inception until 2023. Under his leadership, the team achieved significant milestones:
- Finished 8th in their debut 2016 season with 29 points
- Secured their first F1 pole position in 2022 with Kevin Magnussen
- Established themselves as a leading independent F1 team
Steiner gained widespread recognition through Netflix's "Drive to Survive" series and currently serves as an F1 analyst for RTL, Canal+, and Network 10. His 2023 book "Survive to Drive" became a Sunday Times bestseller.
