Jaguar has unveiled a teaser of its first concept car following its recent controversial rebrand, showcasing a glimpse of what will become a fully-electric GT car competing with the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT.

The teaser image reveals the rear corner of the concept, featuring pronounced haunches and a dramatically sloping roofline reminiscent of the iconic E-Type and F-Type Coupe. Sharp creases contrast with subtle curves, while a flat portion houses a horizontal grille likely to feature the new 'Leaper' emblem.

Notably, the concept appears to follow Polestar 4's design approach with no rear window. Camouflaged shots of the production vehicle show a cab-rearward silhouette, contrasting with the I-Pace's cab-forward design, featuring a long bonnet and dummy grille.

The rebrand introduces a new rounded wordmark, a 'Jr' flourish for wheel center caps, and a reimagined 'Leaper' emblem integrated within horizontal lines. Jaguar's new design philosophy, dubbed 'Exuberant Modernism,' aims to "copy nothing" and be "fearlessly creative."

Jaguar's future strategy focuses on luxury rather than volume sales, with plans to launch three electric models priced over £100,000. The brand will operate through a more exclusive dealer network, marking a significant shift from its current market position.
