Joe Harz, legendary sprint car owner from Elmer, New Jersey, has passed away at age 77, leaving behind an incredible legacy in motorsports.

During his 18-year career spanning the 1980s-2000s, Harz's iconic yellow No. 88H sprint car accumulated 169 victories, including 41 at Williams Grove Speedway. Starting in modified racing in 1979, he transitioned to sprint cars in 1984 with driver Meme DeSantis.
Notable achievements with the No. 88H include:
- 85 victories with Fred Rahmer (2002-2005)
- 47 wins with Lance Dewease (1999-2001)
- 22 wins with Kenny Adams
- Multiple World of Outlaws victories, including the 2001 National Open
