Macedo dominated the first 25 laps before his car briefly stalled with five laps remaining. After a collision with lapped traffic miraculously restarted his engine, he battled back to reclaim the lead from Jacob Denney in the closing laps, ultimately winning by a 1.178-second margin.
Driving the Dyson Motorsport entry, Macedo completed a sweep of the night, also winning the Kings of Thunder 360 Sprint Car feature. The victory marked the third straight year the Australian-based Dyson team has won a USAC National Midget feature in California.
Jacob Denney finished second in his best result of the season, while Cannon McIntosh took third for his eighth podium in nine starts. Corey Day charged from 11th to 4th, earning the Inferno Armor Fire Move of the Night.
Tanner Carrick set a new track record in qualifying with a 15.344-second lap. Dane Culver earned hard charger honors, advancing from 24th to 15th in his first series start.
The USAC National Midget Championship continues November 22-23 at Merced Speedway for Midget Madness.
