Racing legends Luke McMillin and Rob MacCachren claimed their third overall victory in four years at the 57th BFGoodrich SCORE Baja 1000, completing the grueling 864-mile course in 15 hours, 54 minutes, and 37 seconds.

The duo piloted their No. 83 McMillin Racing Beast Unleashed/BFGoodrich all-wheel drive Ford Raptor through challenging conditions including bitter cold, rain, and technical terrain. Their average speed was 57.6087 mph across the course.

Key Race Highlights:

  • Early leader Bryce Menzies dropped out at mile 27 due to power steering issues
  • Close competition included Toby Price, Alan Ampudia, and Tavo Vildosola
  • Tavo Vildosola and Jason McNeil finished second, just six minutes behind the winners
  • All top five finishers drove Mason Motorsports-built all-wheel-drive machines

The race was unfortunately marked by a tragic pre-race incident that resulted in two fatalities during technical inspection in downtown Ensenada. Two high-speed accidents during the race resulted in no injuries.
