The all-new Renault 5 electric car arrives in January, starting at £22,995 - £2,000 less than the Fiat 500e, offering better range and practicality with a stylish retro design.

Three trim levels are available: Evolution (£22,995), Techno (£24,995), and Iconic (from £26,995). Two battery options offer ranges of 190 or 248 miles, with the latter available on higher trims.

The design retains 95% of the concept car's styling, blending retro elements from the classic 70s hatch with modern features. Distinctive features include LED headlights, sporty proportions, and signature rear lights inspired by the original R5 GT Turbo.

The interior features a modern two-step dashboard with recycled materials, including denim-like coverings and seats made from recycled plastic bottles. Customizable elements include interchangeable gear selector ends and various upholstery colors.

Performance options include:

• 120hp motor: 0-60mph in 9.0 seconds
• 150hp motor: 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds

Battery options:

• 40kWh: 190 miles range
• 52kWh: 248 miles range
• Both charge 15-80% in around 30 minutes
• Vehicle-to-load charging capability included
