RFK Racing Expands in 2025, Adds Preece to NASCAR Cup Series Lineup
RFK Racing will expand to three NASCAR Cup Series entries in 2025, adding Ryan Preece in the No. 60 Ford Mustang alongside current drivers Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher. The team will lease a charter from Rick Ware Racing for the new entry.
Three Kroger racecars on track
Kroger joins RFK Racing as a major sponsor, bringing 20 brands from their sponsorship family that will appear across all three cars throughout the season. The company transitions from JTG Daugherty Racing, where they've been a NASCAR sponsor since 2010.
Preece comes to RFK from Stewart-Haas Racing, bringing experience from 187 career Cup Series starts and seven top-10 finishes during his two seasons with SHR. The 2025 season will mark his sixth full-time Cup Series campaign.
"Ryan Preece is who we identified from day one when discussing this third entry," said RFK Racing president Steve Newmark. "His young talent from the grassroots level all the way up to the Cup Series is something that excites us moving forward."
Brent Cox, Kroger's director of health and baby care, confirmed that Brand Activation Maximizer (BAM) will continue to represent the Kroger Racing program in this new partnership with RFK Racing.
This expansion marks RFK Racing's return to a three-car operation for the first time since 2016.
