Sting Ray Robb Pivots to Third IndyCar Team with Return to Juncos Hollinger Racing
Starting his third NTT IndyCar Series season, Sting Ray Robb joins Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) for 2025, marking his third team in as many years. The 23-year-old Idaho native brings his proven track record of third-year success, previously demonstrated by winning the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 championship with Juncos Racing.

After stints with Dale Coyne Racing (2023) and A.J. Foyt Racing (2024), Robb reunites with Ricardo Juncos, despite their previous split following a challenging 2021 Indy NXT season. The reunion required mending past differences, but both parties found common ground in their shared vision for success.
"We knew that Juncos was one of the options at that time," Robb explained to RACER. "When we first talked to Ricardo, obviously he and I have some history, which is good. That continuity is there a little bit."
The early signing gives Robb valuable time to build relationships with his new team, which he considers crucial for success. While acknowledging the challenges of another team switch, he remains optimistic about leveraging his third-year experience in IndyCar.
Backed by a strong support network dubbed "Team SR2," Robb aims to follow in the footsteps of Marcus Ericsson, who transformed from a funded driver to one of IndyCar's highest-paid competitors. This transition represents his ultimate goal in the sport, though he remains realistic about his current position and grateful for his supporters.
"We're in a state of the sport where I'm not going to be ignorant and say, 'Well, no, I'm doing this based off my talent,'" Robb admitted. "Everyone that's joined this ride has become part of the team, part of that family, and they've bought into it."
