The vibrant color scheme bears a resemblance to the iconic Target liveries previously seen on Chip Ganassi Racing cars. This change represents a fresh chapter in Verizon's 17-year sponsorship relationship with Team Penske.
Nick Kelly, VP of partnerships at Verizon, emphasized that the new design reflects the evolution of their brand and commitment to race fans, while Will Power expressed enthusiasm about the distinctive look, acknowledging Verizon's crucial role in his racing career at Team Penske.
"We have run a variety of paint schemes in that time, but never one that stands out quite like this one," Power noted, adding that the new design brings extra excitement to the upcoming NTT IndyCar Series season.
