The Supercat combines classic design with contemporary engineering, featuring a TWR-developed supercharged V12 engine that produces 660bhp and 730Nm of torque. The power is delivered through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels, staying true to its motorsport heritage.
Significant engineering improvements include:
- Integrated tubular steel structure for enhanced rigidity
- Carbon fiber body panels reducing weight by 9.3% (1,605kg vs original 1,770kg)
- Double wishbone suspension with active dynamic damping
- Optional carbon ceramic disc brakes
- Programmable traction control and launch control
- Five distinct driving modes

Designer Khyzyl Saleem reimagined the classic XJS form using modern materials while maintaining the car's performance-focused DNA. Every design element serves a functional purpose, combining aerodynamics with aesthetic appeal.
Production will be limited to 88 individually commissioned examples, with each vehicle custom-built to owner specifications. The project represents a revival of the TWR name, led by Fergus Walkinshaw, son of company founder Tom Walkinshaw, who aims to deliver an authentic, analog driving experience for enthusiasts on both road and track.
