
14 Northeast Speedways Join American Racer Cup for 2025 Season
The American Racer Cup 2025 brings together 14 premier Northeast speedways across New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Quebec, Canada. This prestigious racing series rewards Modified and Sportsman competitors who race at American Racer home tracks.

Defending champions Matt Sheppard (Modified) and Kenny Peoples Jr. (Sportsman) lead the way into the 2025 season, which runs from April 11 to September 1 (Labor Day).
Key Program Details:
- Registration deadline: May 1
- Modified division prize pool: $40,000+
- Sportsman division prize pool: $6,750
- Additional regional point funds by Sunoco Race Fuels
- Extensive tire certificate distribution program
Modified Prize Structure:
- Overall standings (top 15): $36,000 total
- First place: $10,000
- Regional bonuses (North/South): Up to $1,000 per region
Sportsman Prize Structure:
- Overall standings (top 15): $6,750 total
- First place: $1,500
- Regional bonuses (North/South): Up to $500 per region
