The partnership brings together two of NHRA's most accomplished drivers. Schumacher, who secured two victories and finished eighth in the 2024 championship with JCM Racing, brings 88 career wins to RWR. His specific race schedule for 2025 will be announced later.
"This opportunity with Rick Ware Racing gets me back in a Top Fuel car where I can compete at a high level immediately," Schumacher said. "Working alongside Clay Millican will strengthen both our performances through shared data and collaboration."
RWR, entering its third full NHRA season, has already achieved notable success with Millican, including four wins and a victory at the prestigious U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis in 2024. Team owner Rick Ware emphasized that Millican remains the cornerstone of their NHRA program, while Schumacher's addition significantly strengthens their competitive position.
"Having two of the best NHRA drivers and sponsor ambassadors in the sport will elevate our entire operation," Ware said. "Clay's talent and dedication helped put us on the map, and now we're positioned for even greater success with Tony joining the team."
