
Adam Householder Clinches Back-to-Back Mint 400 Victory in Grueling Desert Battle
Adam Householder secured his second consecutive Mint 400 victory in a grueling desert race marked by high attrition and intense competition. The 40-year-old Anaheim native persevered through multiple tire changes to complete all four laps in under seven hours, despite finishing with significant damage to his truck's front end.

Early race leader Dale Dondel dropped out with engine issues, while Ryan Arciero's strong showing ended with a broken axle. Ethan Ebert, debuting the new Team Honda V6 turbo-powered Passport, briefly held second place before mechanical problems forced his retirement.

Dave Mason Jr. claimed second place in Unlimited Truck 2WD, marking a significant achievement for Yokohama's 40-inch tire development program in Unlimited Truck racing.

"The pace was incredibly fast, and we were pushing hard," said Householder post-race. "After the competition started breaking down, we switched to conservation mode for the final two laps, focusing on avoiding rocks and reaching the finish line."

In the Unlimited Truck SPEC category, Conner McMullen emerged victorious after a tight battle with defending champion Brent Fox, who dropped to fifth due to speeding penalties. The SPEC trucks, featuring limited-horsepower LS engines and automatic transmissions, dominated the overall top five positions.

Wilson Motorsports Jimco Chevy won the Class 1 unlimited race car category, completing a clean sweep for BFGoodrich across all three Unlimited categories and Friday's Limited Class race.
