
Altoe joins DragonSpeed for full 2025 GTD PRO Ferrari campaign
Giacomo Altoe joins DragonSpeed's GTD PRO driver lineup for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, partnering with Albert Costa in the No.81 Ferrari 296 GT3. Ferrari works driver Davide Rigon will join the pair for remaining Michelin Endurance Cup events.

Altoe's impressive racing background includes:
- Formula 4 and TCR success in Italy
- 2018 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro champion
- 2018 Italian GT Championship winner
- 2019 International GT Open Championship victory
- GTD PRO class win at Road America with Conquest Racing in 2024
"We're excited to welcome Giacomo to the team full-time," said DragonSpeed Team Principal Elton Julian. "He shares familiarity with, and success in, the 296 GT3 with Albert and Davide, making him the perfect fit as we continue our push for podiums and victories this season."
The team's previous Rolex 24 at Daytona performance saw Costa, Rigon, Miguel Molina, and Thomas Neubauer secure sixth place in GTD PRO class. Rigon will now begin his FIA World Endurance Championship campaign with Vista AF Corse at Qatar while maintaining his endurance racing duties with DragonSpeed.
