Austin Berry returned to super late model racing at Selinsgrove Speedway after nearly a year away, piloting his No.86 car sponsored by Tuscarora Restoration and other local businesses.

Despite the extended break, Berry showed promise by qualifying 5th in his group, though he finished 17th in the main event due to setup issues. In the limited late model division, he secured a strong runner-up finish in his heat race but dropped to 11th in the feature when his right rear tire deteriorated.

At Port Royal Speedway the following day, Berry qualified an impressive 3rd in his flight among 35 competitors. He finished 4th in his heat race and 16th in the main event from a 14th starting position.

Key Race Results:

  • Selinsgrove Speedway (April 18):
    • Limited Late Model: Heat 2nd, A-main 11th
    • Super Late Model: Qualifying 5th, Heat 4th, A-main 17th
  • Port Royal Speedway (April 19):
    • Super Late Model: Flight B Qualifying 3rd, Heat 4th, A-main 16th

Berry's racing career began in go-karts in 2005, progressing through Legends cars before transitioning to dirt Super Late Models in 2015. His achievements include winning his first super late model race at Port Royal Speedway in June 2021 and earning Most Improved Driver honors in 2019 and 2021.

Next Up: Berry returns to Selinsgrove Speedway on April 26th in the Limited Late Model division, followed by double-duty racing in both classes on May 2nd.
