Steve Bernier's remarkable racing journey spans from passionate spectator to accomplished champion, with approximately seventeen track championships under his belt. Beginning in 2001 alongside his brother François in the four-cylinder class, Bernier's career has been marked by consistent progression and achievement.

In 2008, Bernier dominated the Sportsman Modified division with sixteen victories, securing track championships at both Autodrome Drummond and Autodrome Granby. By 2014, he advanced to the 358 Modified division, where he earned eight track championships over the next decade.

Despite facing challenges in 2024, Bernier and his TBR Racing team achieved 10 feature wins and claimed the Ogilvie's Series Championship at Brockville Ontario Speedway.

For 2025, TBR Racing is expanding operations, currently building twelve cars for customers while preparing for their own racing season. The team has invested in a new CT525 engine to comply with Autodrome Granby's updated rules and maintains two spec 358 engines for competitive flexibility.

Their 2025 schedule focuses on Autodrome Granby and RPM Speedway as home tracks, with select appearances at Autodrome Drummond and Cornwall Speedway's major events. Bernier plans to defend his Ogilvie's Series title at Brockville Speedway, schedule permitting.
