The performance will feature Michaels, the 61-year-old Poison frontman known for hits like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and the reality show "Rock of Love," alongside 2000s rock band The All-American Rejects, who recently released their first single in four years.

The concert will take place on Friday, May 23, following the final practice session for the 109th Indy 500's field of 33 drivers. The event marks the traditional closing of track activities before race day.

IMS president Doug Boles describes Carb Day as "the official party to kick off race weekend" and "the kickoff event of the summer." The day's activities include:

  • Final practice for Indy 500 drivers
  • Pit Stop Challenge competition
  • Live concert entertainment
  • Full day of fan activities

Many racing enthusiasts traditionally take the day off work to participate in this unique celebration at the "Racing Capital of the World."
