Bridgeport Motorsports Park Gears Up for '60 Over Special' STSS Race This Weekend
The Short Track Super Series (STSS) returns to Bridgeport Motorsports Park for the '60 Over Special' this Saturday, March 22. The event honors legendary driver and promoter Doug Hoffman at the high-banked, four-tenths-mile oval known as the 'Kingdom of Speed.'

The Modified division will compete in a 60-lap feature paying $6,060 to win, commemorating Hoffman's racing number. The race counts toward the NJ Quality Drywall South Region points standings. Sportsman racers will battle for $4,444 in their 44-lap feature, marking Event No. 2 of the Belmont's Garage South Region.
Last weekend at Port Royal Speedway, Dillon Steuer earned a surprising $12,000 victory over Matt Sheppard, taking the South Region points lead. In Sportsman competition, Stephen Kemery leads the standings following his $4,000 win at Port Royal.
An open practice for STSS teams will be held Friday night, March 21.
