Christian Bruno Charges from 11th to Win USAC East Coast Thriller at Port Royal

The action-packed event saw Briggs Danner and Chris Allen winning their respective heats. Dale Schweikart started from pole position, but Danner quickly took the lead on lap one. Kenny Miller III mounted a strong challenge mid-race, while Bruno methodically worked his way through the field.
The decisive moment came with three laps remaining when the leaders encountered lapped traffic. Bruno expertly used a lapped car as a pick to secure the lead, holding off Danner's last-lap challenge for the win. The final top-five consisted of Bruno, Danner, Miller, Steven Drevicki, and Ed Aikin.
