Daison Pursley Crowned 2024 USAC ProSource Passing Master for Second Straight Year

Daison Pursley has claimed the 2024 USAC ProSource Passing Master title for the second consecutive year, advancing 209 positions in 72 feature starts across USAC's national divisions. This achievement earned him a $2,500 reward and recognition at the upcoming USAC Night of Champions.

Despite predictions from his car owners that he wouldn't repeat due to expected strong qualifying performances, Pursley excelled in both qualifying and passing. His most notable achievement came at Bloomington Speedway's Larry Rice Classic, where he advanced from 23rd to 2nd place, setting a USAC National Sprint Car record for most positions gained.

In 2024, Pursley was one of three drivers to win across all USAC national divisions, securing 10 total victories: 7 in Midgets, 2 in Sprints, and 1 in Silver Crown. He improved his position in 42 of his 72 feature starts throughout the year.

Pursley joins Justin Grant as the only back-to-back winners of the ProSource Passing Master award, which has been sponsored by Buck Rice since 2020. Previous winners include:
