Dillon Steuer clinched a thrilling victory at Port Royal Speedway's Speed Showcase, holding off "Superman" Matt Sheppard to claim the $12,000 prize in the Short Track Super Series event.

Starting from second position, Steuer took command from the opening flag and masterfully defended his lead throughout the 60-lap main event. Despite facing intense pressure from multiple challengers, including Alex Yankowski and ultimately Matt Sheppard, Steuer maintained his composure.

The race featured several dramatic moments, including Yankowski's smoke-filled exit with 21 laps remaining and an intense battle between Steuer and Sheppard in the closing laps. The pair traded sliders with three laps to go, culminating in a door-to-door finish that had fans on their feet.

Mike Mahaney rounded out the podium behind Sheppard, while Stephen Kemery captured the 602 crate modified victory worth $4,000. Devon Camenga topped the pro stock competition, besting Luke Horning and Andy Graves.

Port Royal Speedway's next event is scheduled for Saturday, March 22nd, featuring Weikert's Livestock 410 sprint cars competing for $6,000 and Penske Racing Shock super late models racing for $4,000.
