Track operators Mike and Alayne Bruno finalized the agreement with DIRTcar officials after two years of negotiations. Under this new partnership:

  • Devil's Bowl Speedway (West Haven, VT):

    • Small Block "358" Modified division sanctioning
    • Mini Stock class sanctioning
    • New seven-race championship series for 358 Modifieds
    • Weekly Sportsman Modifieds remain independent
  • Airborne Park Speedway (Plattsburgh, NY):

    • Small Block "358" Modified division sanctioning
    • Mini Stock class sanctioning
    • Sportsman Modifieds sanctioning
    • Special event: DIRTcar 358 Modified Series and DIRTcar Sportsman Series East Region (May 22)

DIRTcar Racing, operating under World Racing Group (WRG), sanctions over 4,000 members across nearly 200 North American dirt tracks. The organization oversees weekly racing, regional and national touring series, and premier events for various racing classes.

Historical context: Kenny Tremont Jr. won Devil's Bowl's championship during its previous DIRTcar season in 1984, while Chris Raabe (358 Modified) and Travis Bruno (Sportsman) secured Airborne's most recent DIRTcar titles in 2023.

Track operator Mike Bruno emphasizes this partnership's strategic importance: "Being partnered with DIRTcar would benefit both tracks, our drivers, our race teams, and the DIRTcar organization as well. This is just the beginning of what we can accomplish together."

Complete 2025 schedules and rulebooks will be announced soon for both venues.
