DragonSpeed and Risi Join Forces, Announce All-Star Daytona Ferrari Line-up
New IMSA GTD PRO entrant DragonSpeed has formed a strategic partnership with Risi Competizione for the 2025 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign. The team has finalized its Rolex 24 At Daytona driver lineup for the No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3.

The driver roster includes:
- Davide Rigon (2024 Daytona winner with Risi)
- Miguel Molina (2024 Le Mans winner)
- Thomas Neubauer
- Albert Costa (previously announced)
This collaboration brings together DragonSpeed's impressive racing heritage, including three Rolex 24 victories and a 24 Hours of Le Mans LMP2 win, with Risi Competizione's extensive IMSA experience with Ferrari. While Risi won't field their own car in 2025, they will provide technical support to DragonSpeed's effort.
The No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3 will feature DragonSpeed's signature stars-and-stripes design on a yellow base livery. This partnership aims to defend Ferrari's Daytona victory and add to the 296 GT3's impressive tally of over 200 victories in just two years of competition.
The triple-platinum rated driver lineup (with Neubauer as gold) represents significant racing expertise, with Costa coming off a successful 2024 season that included a Motul Petit Le Mans victory with Conquest Racing.
DragonSpeed previously tested the waters in 2024, competing in the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis (GTD class) and Motul Petit Le Mans (GTD PRO class), laying the groundwork for their full-season 2025 campaign.
