Dustin Walker, from Polk, MO, is gearing up for his third full-time season with the World of Outlaws Late Models in 2025, continuing his pursuit of dirt Late Model racing excellence.

Racing alongside his daughter Lacey, who serves as crew chief, Walker has embraced the challenges of competing at the highest level. Lacey has earned respect in the pits, with fellow competitors acknowledging her expertise despite her young age.
The family-run team faces new challenges in 2025. Walker's increased work commitments with a power co-op's rock drilling operations will require additional crew members, particularly someone to drive the hauler during weeks when he needs to fly between work and races.
Walker's switch to Longhorn Chassis early last season has boosted his confidence. Though some results didn't immediately reflect the improvement, he believes the team has found better setups, especially for larger tracks.
Volusia Speedway Park, where the season opens, represents Walker's growing comfort with high-speed racing. After initial struggles at the "World's Fastest Half Mile," updates to his car's setup, including changes to the bird cage arrangement and shock package, have him optimistic about the 2025 season opener.
The 2025 World of Outlaws Late Models season kicks off at Volusia Speedway Park with the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (Jan. 22-25) and Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (Feb. 13-15). Fans can watch all races live on DIRTVision.
