EMPA Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Nominees and Special Awards Ballot
The Eastern Motorsport Press Association (EMPA) has announced its 2025 Hall of Fame nominees and special award candidates. The organization's 52nd annual convention will be held January 10-12, 2025, at the Holiday Inn in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Don Prudhomme and Steve Park will be automatically inducted into the Hall of Fame. Four additional inductees will be chosen from eight nominees: Mark "Bones" Bourcier, Rick Ferkel, Chip Ganassi, Jimmy Horton, Nick Igdalsky, Alan Johnson, Sammy Swindell, and Steve Smith Jr.

World Racing Group has named Scott Gobrecht of BAPS Speedway as the Jerry Reigle Dedication to Sprint Car Racing Award recipient.
Convention Highlights:

- Saturday: Press conferences, workshops, and award presentations
- Saturday Evening: Formal Hall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony
- Keynote Speaker: Paul Page, motorsports television and radio announcer
Voting deadline is December 8, with only EMPA members eligible to participate.
