Leclerc took the first stint before Hamilton stepped in, showcasing the team's latest design which features significant modifications aimed at enhancing development potential throughout the season.

The most notable change is the switch from push rod to pull rod front suspension, designed to expand aerodynamic development opportunities after reaching limitations with the previous design.

Chassis Technical Director Loic Serra explained that while the SF-25 builds upon its predecessor, it features 99% new components and improved architecture for maximized performance. The team anticipates an extremely competitive season where minimal margins will determine success.

Despite Ferrari's strong performance in the latter half of last season, with Leclerc scoring the most points of any driver post-summer break, Serra maintains that the significant changes don't pose undue risk. The core performance concept remains consistent with the SF-24, though modified to enhance development potential.

The technical team expects the car's development rate to improve compared to late last season, while maintaining familiar operating characteristics. These changes were conceptualized before Serra's arrival from Mercedes, as noted by Team Principal Fred Vasseur.
