Franco, Medler Battle Leads Dramatic Ferrari Challenge Season Opener
A thrilling opening to the 2025 Ferrari Challenge North America season unfolded at Sonoma Raceway, with Manny Franco and Mitchell Green securing victories in their respective classes.

Nearly 70 cars competed across the Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa Shell classes in the first of two doubleheader races.
Trofeo Pirelli Results:
- Winner: Manny Franco (Ferrari Lake Forest)
- Second: Dylan Medler (The Collection)
- Third: Johnny Kaminskey (Ferrari of Long Island)
Massimo Perrina initially crossed the finish line first but received a jump-start penalty, dropping to fourth position. In the Trofeo Pirelli Am class, Brad Fauvre claimed victory, followed by Eric Pan and Sebastian Mascaro.
Coppa Shell Results:
- Winner: Mitchell Green (Ferrari Westlake)
- Second: Yahn Bernier (Ferrari of Seattle)
- Third: Gary Ott (Ferrari Philadelphia)
The Coppa Shell Am class saw Jeffrey Nunberg make a decisive pass on Gabe Hrib in the final minutes to secure the win, with Steve Check completing the podium.
