Giovinazzi Claims Ferrari WEC Pole Position in Qatar Qualifying
Ferrari's Antonio Giovinazzi secured pole position for the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship opener in Qatar, setting a blistering lap time of 1m38.359s in the No. 51 499P during the Hyperpole session.

The Italian driver's performance, marked by a stellar final sector, outpaced the No. 15 BMW M Team WRT M Hybrid V8 driven by Dries Vanthoor by 0.136s. The lap time also improved upon last year's Porsche pole position (1:39.347).

In LMGT3, United Autosports achieved a McLaren front-row lockout, with Sean Gelael's No. 95 GT3 Evo setting a 1m54.239s pole time, narrowly beating teammate Sebastien Baud in the No. 59.
The Qatar 1812KM race begins tomorrow at 2:00pm local time.
