GM's Energy Assist technology within the myChevrolet app receives significant updates to enhance the electric vehicle charging experience. These improvements directly address key concerns of EV owners regarding on-the-go charging accessibility and reliability.

New features in the Energy Assist platform include real-time charging station availability updates, simplified payment processes, and detailed station information. The system now covers more than 40,000 charging stations across North America, with dynamic data showing which stations are currently in use.

The myChevrolet app now enables drivers to view charger types, charging speeds, and pricing information before arrival. Users can also initiate and pay for charging sessions directly through the app at participating stations, eliminating the need for multiple charging network memberships.

For route planning, the app calculates charging stops based on current battery levels, driving conditions, and real-time charger availability. This feature helps reduce range anxiety by ensuring drivers can reach their destinations efficiently.

These updates demonstrate GM's commitment to improving the electric vehicle ownership experience by streamlining the charging process and providing more reliable information to EV drivers.
