PREMA Racing has accepted the penalties issued after failing post-race technical inspection at the 107th Indianapolis 500, choosing not to appeal the infractions.

The team's cars were found to have a non-compliant undertray assembly during post-race technical inspection. This violation led to the disqualification and loss of championship points for both entries.

As a result, PREMA forfeits all team and driver championship points earned at the event, though they will retain the prize money awarded. The team acknowledged the technical breach and has committed to ensuring full compliance with regulations going forward.

Team Principal Rene Rosin stated, "While disappointing, we respect the officials' decision and will use this as a learning opportunity to strengthen our technical procedures. Our focus remains on upcoming races and delivering competitive performances within the rules."

This marks the first major technical infraction for PREMA since entering the series, and the team has already implemented additional quality control measures to prevent similar issues in the future.
