Historic Winners Emerge at HSR Sebring Classic 12 Hour
A quartet of first-time winners emerged at the Mission Foods HSR Sebring Classic 12 Hour, marking the first such occurrence in six years at Sebring International Raceway. The victors prevailed after completing nine hours of racing on Saturday and three hours on Sunday, honoring the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring tradition.
Run Groups A, B, C, and D competed across four segments over two days, with winners determined by total combined distance covered. The event featured both dominant victories and dramatic finishes.
In Group A, John Emberson and Nigel Greensall piloted their 1970 Chevron B19 to victory, overcoming early mechanical issues to win by a full lap. The UK-based team made their North American debut with support from the Vintage Racing Company.
Kenneth McKinnon's Predator Racing claimed Group B honors in their 1972 Porsche 911 RSR, co-driven by Mike Bruns and Charles Espenlaub. They secured victory by more than a lap and topped the combined A/B standings.
