
Imperial Valley Raceway Hosts Two-Night USAC CRA Sprint Car Showdown
The USAC CRA Sprint Car Championship continues at Imperial Valley Raceway with two nights of racing on March 14-15, during the California Mid-Winter Fair.
The event features full racing programs each night alongside SoCal Lightning Sprints at the quarter-mile dirt track. Located at Imperial Valley Expo, pit gates open at 2:00pm Friday/1:00pm Saturday, with spectator gates opening at 5:30pm Friday/4:00pm Saturday.

Current Points Leader Jake Swanson leads by 27 points, followed by Tommy Malcolm and defending champion R.J. Johnson. The track record of 11.770 was set by David Gasper in October 2024.

Previous Imperial Valley USAC/CRA winners include David Gasper and Ricky Lewis. The track has hosted sprint car racing since 1957, featuring historic CRA and SCRA events.
The 2025 USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series continues through November, with 25 scheduled events across California and Arizona tracks.
