
IndyCar Stars McLaughlin and Newgarden Set for Penske Porsche Test at Sebring
Scott McLaughlin and Josef Newgarden will test Porsche Penske Motorsport 963s during next week's IMSA-sanctioned test at Sebring International Raceway, joining 37 other cars from February 11-13.
McLaughlin will drive the No. 6 Penske Porsche for his first IMSA-sanctioned test, while Newgarden returns to the No. 7 Porsche following his victory at the 2024 Rolex 24 At Daytona. Newgarden previously raced at the 2023 Petit Le Mans in a Porsche Penske Motorsport GTP car.

The test schedule includes GT classes on Tuesday, all classes on Wednesday, and prototype-only sessions on Thursday. Ten GTP cars are entered, with notable absences including the No. 40 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac V-Series.R and No. 63 Lamborghini Squadra Corse SC63.
