Leading all 40 laps, Davenport faced intense pressure from Overton in the closing stages, ultimately winning by 0.538 seconds. Kyle Bronson finished third, followed by Brandon Sheppard and Devin Moran rounding out the top five.

This marks Davenport's 85th Lucas Oil Victory Lane appearance and his fifth victory at Ocala, the most of any late model driver during Speedweeks at the egg-shaped track.

"He made me more worried than I should have been," Davenport said about Overton's late-race challenge. "I didn't know he was coming like that at the very end. The track was slimy around the bottom, and I couldn't tell what everyone else was doing from the front."

Overton, making his return to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2025, showed strong pace throughout the race. "I felt like I was doing everything I could. I almost made a move on him there, but I just got my right rear quarter-panel in the wall and couldn't get low enough to take the lead," he explained.

Bronson secured third place, his best series finish since winning the Silver Dollar Nationals in 2021. "It definitely feels good to get a good finish. We've got everything we need to win; we just need to put the right pieces in the right places," he commented.
