Currently sitting 11th in points after four rounds, the Team Tedder/Monster Energy Racing rider has shown steady improvement with finishes of 8th, 14th, 15th, and most recently, 6th at Glendale. Despite mechanical challenges at San Diego and illness at Anaheim 2, Hill remains optimistic about his progression.

"The biggest jump in the world is going from being really good to elite," Hill explains. "I might sound nuts, but I'm going to Tampa to win."

His recent performance at Glendale showcased significant improvement, particularly in his starts. From an outside gate position, Hill managed to reach the first turn alongside the leaders, implementing crucial technical changes that he plans to carry into Tampa.

The veteran racer's mental strength has become his biggest asset. "I have had bikes that have worked this good before... but I don't think my head has ever been this strong," he reflects. "Right now, I think I mop myself in any other year of my career."

Hill's approach to Tampa is bolstered by his previous success at the venue and his growing confidence against factory teams. With his combination of experience, mental fortitude, and recent momentum, he's positioned himself as a serious contender for the upcoming round.
