Kyle Cummins dominated the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship opener at Volusia Speedway Park, securing his 18th career victory and first-ever win on a 1/2-mile dirt track.

Starting from fourth position, Cummins quickly maneuvered through the field, taking the lead from pole-sitter Brady Bacon in turns three and four on the first lap. He maintained control throughout the 25-lap event, only facing pressure during two late-race cautions.

Driving the Petty Performance Racing/Avanti Windows & Doors – Premier Recycling/Mach-1/Stanton Chevy, Cummins demonstrated remarkable speed and control, particularly in the first 10 laps where he "never lifted off the floor." The victory marked his second Winter Dirt Games win, following his 2023 triumph at Ocala Speedway.

Daison Pursley finished second after an impressive late-race move, passing both Justin Grant and Brady Bacon on the final restart. Bacon secured third, followed by Grant in fourth and Briggs Danner in fifth.
