C.J. Leary has signed with Team AZ Racing for the 2025 season, competing in both the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and USAC Silver Crown series. The 2019 USAC National Sprint Car champion will participate in 50 Sprint Car races and 13 Silver Crown events.

The partnership combines Team AZ's proven success - including six USAC National Sprint Car wins and a Silver Crown victory - with Leary's impressive track record of 23 Sprint Car wins and three Silver Crown victories.

For Sprint Car competition, Leary will pilot the Curb Records/Apache Transport OakCraft Elegant Cabinetry No. 21AZ, featuring a DRC Chassis and 1 Way Technologies power. In Silver Crown races, he'll drive the Avanti Windows & Doors No. 21, equipped with a DRC Chassis and Stanton Racing Engines power.

Leary recently tested the waters with Team AZ during the 2024 Western World Championships, securing impressive third and fourth-place finishes. This experience proved valuable in establishing team chemistry before the 2025 season.

The 2025 campaign kicks off in February with Winter Dirt Games in Florida for Sprint Cars, followed by the Sumar Classic at Terre Haute Action Track for Silver Crown. Both Leary and Team AZ have previous success in Florida, with Leary winning at Ocala in 2019 and 2024, and Team AZ claiming victory at Volusia in 2023.

The new arrangement allows Leary to focus solely on driving duties, with a dedicated crew handling other responsibilities - a change he believes will enhance his performance and championship prospects.
