Logan Seavey Makes Thrilling Late-Race Pass For Hard Rock Qualifying Victory

Logan Seavey claimed his fourth career Chili Bowl Nationals preliminary night victory at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino Tulsa Qualifying Night, demonstrating exceptional skill in a thrilling battle for the lead.

Starting from seventh position, Seavey quickly advanced to the podium within eight laps. The decisive moment came on lap 27 when he overtook Gavin Miller for the lead, holding off Miller's intense pursuit through the final laps to win by 0.221 seconds.

The race featured dramatic moments, including a lap 18 incident between Miller and Ryan Timms while battling for the lead. Miller, who finished second, secured his first Chili Bowl A-Feature appearance, while Tyler Courtney completed the podium in third.

The event saw 377 competitors across five preliminary nights, with each night featuring a different car owner in victory lane. The 39th annual Chili Bowl Nationals continues with Saturday's finals, beginning at 8:00 A.M. with cars on track at 9:00 A.M. (CT).
