The Independence 50 will join Muskingum County Speedway's Freedom 60 for a spectacular Fourth of July weekend. Both events offer a $25,000 prize to the winner.

Atomic Speedway owner Charlie Vest expressed enthusiasm about hosting another Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event, while acknowledging Portsmouth Raceway Park's legacy.

Portsmouth Raceway Park's history with the series spans from 2007 to 2023, featuring 37 series races, including the prestigious Dirt Track World Championship season finale from 2011-2022.

Rick Schwallie, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Director, praised Portsmouth's contribution to the series and welcomed Atomic Speedway as the new venue, ensuring the continuation of this important racing tradition.

The schedule adjustment maintains the series' commitment to providing high-quality dirt track racing while preserving the Independence Day weekend racing tradition.
