The series follows three key figures in the 2024 season:

  • Heather Hadley (driver)
  • Sally Mott (driver)
  • Shea Holbrook (BSI Racing team owner)

Produced by Boardwalk Pictures, known for "Welcome to Wrexham" and "Cheer," the docuseries provides unprecedented access to the high-stakes world of Mazda MX-5 Cup racing. Viewers will get an intimate look at race preparation, competition thrills, and personal stories through interviews with drivers, pit crews, coaches, owners, and family members.

"The Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship showcases some of the best automotive racing, particularly featuring young drivers proving themselves," says Brad Audet, Chief Marketing Officer at Mazda North American Operations and executive producer.

The series is directed by award-winning filmmaker Annetta Marion, with executive producers from Boardwalk Pictures (Andrew Fried, Caitlin McGinty, Dane Lillegard, Sarina Roma), Mazda North American Operations (Brad Audet), and GroupM Motion Entertainment (Chet Fenster).
