
NASCAR Penalizes Teams After Wheel Incidents at Las Vegas for Busch, Briscoe
Joe Gibbs Racing and Richard Childress Racing face crew member suspensions after wheel detachment incidents during the Las Vegas Motor Speedway race.

Chase Briscoe's No. 19 Gibbs Toyota lost its left rear wheel on lap 33 following pit stops. As a result:
- Two-lap penalty during the race
- Jackman Caleb Dirks suspended for two races
- Rear tire changer Daniel Smith suspended for two races
- Briscoe finished 17th despite the penalty
Kyle Busch's No. 8 Childress Chevrolet experienced a right-rear wheel detachment on lap 113:
- Incident occurred during restart after pit stops
- Car hit wall off Turn 2, requiring garage repairs
- Finished 33rd
- Jackman Dylan Moser suspended for two races
- Rear tire changer Shiloh Windsor suspended for two races
Additional NASCAR penalties:
- Four Xfinity Series teams fined for loose lug nuts:
- No. 11 Kaulig Racing
- No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing

Two crew members received indefinite suspensions for substance abuse policy violations:
- Josiah Wright (Brad Keselowski's rear tire changer)
- Corbin Sklener (GK Racing and Mike Harmon Racing crew member)
