Mike Wallace will attempt to qualify the No. 66 Ford Mustang for MBM Motorsports in the 2025 Daytona 500. The 65-year-old veteran brings extensive superspeedway experience, with multiple victories at Daytona across NASCAR's national series.

Wallace's credentials include over 800 NASCAR starts across the top three series, with 11 previous Daytona 500 appearances. His victory portfolio features wins at Daytona in the Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series, plus additional victories at Talladega Superspeedway.

The opportunity emerged after MBM Motorsports, operated by Carl Long with co-owners Rocky and Tom Smith and John Jackson, secured a Yates engine contract for the 500. Long, who previously worked with Wallace at JGL Racing, cited the driver's exceptional plate racing skills as key to their decision.

"Mike has always been one of the best plate racers, and the skill set he brings makes him the best choice among drivers to be able to race our way into the Daytona 500," said Long.

For Wallace, this opportunity marks a fresh start following personal tragedy. "2024 was a devastating year for me with the loss of Carla, my wife of 44 years," Wallace shared. "2025 brings fresh excitement, starting with this Daytona 500 announcement."

Coble Enterprises, specializing in personalized property management, will support the No. 66 team as an associate sponsor for the event.
