The new Audi A6 Avant combines classic styling with modern technology, offering both petrol and diesel powertrains alongside its electric sibling, the A6 e-tron. Available from April 2025, starting at £52,510.

Design features include swept-back headlights, a larger grille, and customizable digital light patterns. Wheel options range from 18 to 21 inches, maintaining Audi's signature elegant aesthetic.

The interior showcases an 11.9-inch digital driver's display and 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. An optional 10.9-inch passenger display enables movie watching and navigation assistance.

Engine options include:

• 2.0-litre petrol (204hp, 0-60mph in 8.3 seconds)
• 2.0-litre diesel (204hp, 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds)
• Future S6 variant expected with 370hp V6
• Anticipated RS6 version with plug-in hybrid V8 producing 739hp

Three trim levels available:

• Sport: Standard features include heated electric leather seats, four-zone climate control
• S Line: 19-inch wheels, privacy glass, sports suspension
• Edition 1: 20-inch wheels, roof rails, gloss black trim, sports seats

The A6 Avant maintains its traditional naming convention, reversing Audi's previous plan to rename it the A7. It will be sold alongside the electric A6 Avant e-tron, offering customers choice in powertrains while maintaining the model's premium positioning in the luxury estate segment.
