IMSA racing star Nick Tandy aims to achieve the prestigious Triple Crown of endurance racing at the upcoming Sebring 12 Hours, following his historic Rolex 24 At Daytona victory.

After completing the unprecedented "Tandy Slam" by winning all four major 24-hour races (Daytona, Le Mans, Nürburgring, and Spa), Tandy now seeks to join an elite group of just 12 drivers who have won endurance racing's Triple Crown (Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring).

Tandy's impressive Sebring record includes three consecutive GTLM class victories from 2018 to 2020 in the Porsche 911 RSR. Despite near-wins in 2023 and 2024, an overall victory has eluded him, with last year's effort derailed by a blown tire while leading.

"There's high motivation, of course. But it's no more than any other year," says Tandy, who approaches every race with the same competitive spirit, whether it's a major endurance event or a club-level race.

Alongside teammates Felipe Nasr and Laurens Vanthoor in the Porsche Penske Motorsport team, Tandy enters Sebring as the IMSA GTP championship leader. A victory would not only secure his Triple Crown but also put his teammates closer to achieving their own motorsport milestones.

The Sebring 12 Hours, widely considered one of the most challenging tests in endurance racing, represents the final piece of Tandy's individual achievement puzzle in what has already been a remarkable career in sports car racing.
