Nick Tandy Makes History with Unprecedented 24-Hour Race Grand Slam at Daytona
Racing veteran Nick Tandy made history at the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona by becoming the first driver to complete motorsport's prestigious 24-hour race 'Grand Slam' - winning overall at Le Mans, Nürburgring, Spa, and Daytona.

This milestone achievement coincided with Porsche's 20th overall victory at the Rolex 24, making the moment even more significant. For Tandy, who first visited Daytona in 2008 as a spectator for the 500, winning at this "hallowed ground of motorsport" held special meaning.
The 40-year-old British driver now has his sights set on another record: winning all three of IMSA's major endurance races. Having already claimed victory at Petit Le Mans in 2015, Tandy needs only a Sebring 12 Hours win to complete this additional achievement.
Speaking about his historic accomplishment, Tandy reflected on the significance: "Since I won Spa, I realized that nobody had ever won the four big 24-hour races outright before. So it was always a massive thing coming here to try and tick the box, to be the first."
Tandy credits Porsche's legacy in motorsport while acknowledging the personal effort required: "It does help to be with the most successful sportscar brand in history, but you've got to work to put yourself in the car." This victory cements Tandy's place in motorsport history while potentially setting the stage for even more achievements in his racing career.
