For Porsche Penske Motorsport, 2025 started with unprecedented success, securing both the Rolex 24 and Sebring 12 Hours victories with their 963 GTP car.

The No. 7 Porsche, driven by Nick Tandy, Felipe Nasr, and Laurens Vanthoor, dominated the race, leading 473 of the first 1134 laps of the season. The team's success was particularly evident as temperatures dropped and darkness fell, with both Porsche entries showcasing superior pace.

The victory was secured when Tandy overtook Action Express' Fred Vesti, followed by the sister No. 6 car completing a Porsche 1-2 finish. This marked Porsche's first overall win at Sebring since 2008 with the RS Spyder program.

Nick Yelloly's No. 93 Acura MSR ARX-06 claimed third place, finishing five seconds behind the winner. BMW struggled despite starting from pole, while Cadillac had a disappointing day with their best finish in fourth place.

The win holds special significance for Nick Tandy, who became the 10th driver in history to achieve the endurance "Triple Crown" - overall victories at Le Mans 24 Hours, Daytona 24 Hours, and Sebring 12 Hours. This achievement follows his recent "Tandy Slam" at the Rolex 24, where he became the first driver to win all four major 24-hour races worldwide.

Porsche's success extended to the GTD Pro class, where AO Racing's 911, driven by Laurin Heinrich, Alessio Picariello, and Klaus Bachler, secured victory. Heinrich's performance was particularly notable as he broke the GT lap record at Sebring twice during the closing stages.

The flawless execution by both Porsche teams, managing 36 hours of racing across Daytona and Sebring without major incidents, demonstrates the manufacturer's exceptional preparation and team coordination in endurance racing.
