Anthony Macri and Rick Eckert claimed victories at Port Royal Speedway's season opener on March 22nd, despite a 45-minute weather delay. The event featured both sprint car and late model racing action.

In the Weikert's Livestock A-main event, Brock Zearfoss led the opening laps before facing challenges from Kelby Watt. Anthony Macri, who started seventh, methodically worked his way through the field. Following a red flag incident involving multiple cars, Macri seized the lead from Zearfoss with nine laps remaining. Despite a late caution that set up a green-white-checkered finish, Macri held on for the $6,000 victory. Zearfoss finished second, with Chase Dietz completing the podium.

The Penske Racing Shocks super late model feature saw Rick Eckert dominate from the pole position. Though Gregg Satterlee mounted a mid-race challenge, a timely caution helped Eckert secure clean air and cruise to the $4,000 win.
